Community Development works alongside groups in Windmill Hill to help them work towards their aims. This could be through helping groups to start up and providing support through this process, assisting groups to secure funding to deliver projects, delivering training sessions and also by providing general support and advice.

Money still up for grabs!
The Council's Community Development Team has two pots of money available to community groups in the area. The Starter Grant awards up to £150 to new groups and the Development Grant awards up to £400 to established groups. The money is available for a wide variety of different projects and there is still some left in the pot for this financial year.
If your group is planning a project and you'd like to find whether you'd be eligible to apply give Clare a call on 01928 567531 and if your project fits the guidelines I'll happily help you to complete the form!
Neighbourhood Champions!
Neighbourhood Management for Castlefields and Windmill Hill are looking for Neighbourhood Champions for the area. There is very little paperwork - all we want is to get contacts with as many people in the area as possible so that we can let people know about what is going on in their community. We'll let you know what is going on and then we ask you to pass it on to as manay or few people as you can. You'll also be able to let us know what your neighbours think about the issues in the area.
