Sports4all Banner Scheme

The Sports4All Banner Scheme raises the awareness of young children involved in grass-roots sports to some very important social issues that they might have to face either in their sport or in their local communities.Banners and shirts

Social Messages

We do this by displaying hard hitting social messages on banners that are erected around the pitch or playing field, in order to visually attract there attention to real issues which they may have to face up to at some time in their life. By getting these messages across we hope to change young people’s attitudes towards drugs, alcohol, guns, knives and discrimination in all its forms. The messages are also aimed at generating respect for others and for the community as a whole.

Business Sponsorship

The Sports4All Banner Scheme has also started up a unique initiative aimed at joining up junior sports teams with the local business community. We are encouraging local businesses to sponsor a junior football, rugby, cricket, or other sports team and join the Sports4All Banner Scheme. We believe that sponsorship could go a long way towards lowering the cost of junior sport, thereby giving youngsters living in deprived areas a chance to enjoy the sport of their choice.

What are the benefits of the Sports4All Scheme?

1. Our hard hitting social messages act, visually and subliminally, on impressionable youngsters assembled to play sport, and also the parents, officials and spectators too.  Messages such as:

a. Keep Bullying Out
b. Kick Out Racism
c. Why Abuse Our Referees?
d. Just Say No to Drugs and Alcohol

2. The messages remind youngsters that they have a responsibility to themselves, to their community and to others.

3. By asking local businesses to sponsor a junior team, we hope to generate a regular income for the team. This income could:

a. Buy new kit and sports equipment
b. Fund coaching and training schemes
c. Help reduce subscriptions.

4. Sponsorship can also encourage young people from the poorer communities to take part in sport, which in turn will help them with their health and self esteem.
