Update from the Neighbourhood Management Team
The focus of the Neighbourhood Management partnership of late has been on developing a Neighbourhood Action Plan. The Board decided that they would adopt a thematic approach to their action planning and now have 6 sub groups that will take forward issues on the following subject areas:
Children & Young People
Community Involvement
Community Safety
Employment Learning & Skills
Health
Housing & The Environment
The Action Plans will be presented to the Strategic Partnership which sits above the 3 Neighbourhood Board on the 27th November 2007 and will hopefully be approved and adopted at that time.
The action planning process has highlighted the need for a centralised data storage facility. Partner agencies will need to feed information into these action plans with action updates, progress reports etc. With minimal admin support in the NM team there is a need for lead officers to be able to update and data cleanse the action plans via a central location. Perhaps this is an opportunity to utilise the skills of the team at Telematics Centre?
Finally, over the last few months NM has distributed some funds via its Community Action Fund and Quick Response Fund. Below are details of Windmill Hill activities that have been approved and those that have recently been received and are due for consideration.
