There is a new team in town and they are called the Windmill Hill Dragons. An under 8’s team representing the Windmill Hill estate. Newly formed to give young kid’s a chance to express their talents on the football fields of Halton. The importance of any activity such as football is that it gives youngsters a chance to socialise, build team spirit and keeps them off the streets.

The Dragons have joined up to the Sports4all Banner Scheme, which was developed from the Windmill Hill area. By joining up to this scheme the team hopes to raise awareness of some very important social messages on their community banners.

They are also searching for sponsors to come on board and support them and the scheme. The Windmill Hill Dragons are looking for any local business to sponsor their team and at the same time get some free ethical advertising that could last for several months at a time. In the future it would be nice to see more youngsters off the estate joining up to different age groups and representing their own team within the Windmill Hill Junior Football Club.
