Our customers often ask us to get a new computer for their organisation.  We will firstly clarify your requirements, including:

• what the computer will be used for;
• where the computer will be located;
• what sort of warranty is appropriate;
• whether new software is required or is being transferred from an old machine;
• your approximate budget.

Once these requirements have been clarified we will provide you with a detailed quotation covering the whole job.  When we have received your approval we will then:

• order the necessary hardware (usually Dell or HP);
• carry out initial setup of the computer at the Telematics Centre;
• install software as agreed;
• physically install the new computer at your premises in an agreed location;
• install any server-based software onsite;
• install any printers;
• test and confirm everything is working;
• hand over the machine and any manufacturer disks to staff onsite;
• document the work in our detailed documentation on your computer installations.

We take care of all parts of process for you, leaving you to enjoy your new computer.

Cost:  Telematics installation charge for a single new computer is £ 100.  Discounts available for 2 or more computers installed at the same time.  Hardware and software costs extra but charged at cost only.
