The Telematics Centre runs computer courses for local people.  All our courses are Free!

The Telematics Centre has 12 computers available for your use and enjoyment on a variety of courses.  When a course is really popular we can sometimes squeeze in 13 or 14 computers!  We pride ourselves on having up to date computers installed with up to date software:

  • Microsoft Office 2007 Professional Plus - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and Publisher;
  • Adobe Photoshop Elements v5;
  • Microsoft Windows XP Professional with Internet Explorer 7.

Class at the Telematics CentreEach lesson lasts 2 hours and is at the same time each week, usually one of:

  • Tuesday mornings at 9:30 am;
  • Tuesday afternoons at 1:00 pm;
  • Thursday afternoons at 1:00 pm;
  • Friday mornings at 9:30 am;
  • Friday afternoons at 1:00 pm.

A course will run for 6 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks, or more depending which course it is.  We always take a break for half term and school holidays to help those students who look after children or grandchildren.
